In July 2008, he became the pastor of Laurel Baptist Church. Starting with just a handful of people, pastor has a burden to see a strong gospel-centered Baptist Church in northeast Charlotte. On his first Sunday he preached to 36 people a message that has become the heartbeat of our ministry: “Laborers Together” from 1 Corinthians 3:9.
